General User Manual
- Regular cleaning is essential for carpets. If not done, dust settles into the carpet.
- Carpets should not be beaten or thrashed when cleaned; if possible, they should be vacuumed daily.
- Carpets should not be washed. They should be wiped using carpet shampoo. Cleaning must be done strictly with carpet shampoo foam, following the usage instructions; under no circumstances should carpet shampoo water be used for cleaning. It should be remembered that water is also a contaminant for carpets. When necessary, the carpet should be given to a professional carpet cleaner.
- After cleaning, the carpet should be dried quickly and never left damp. Drying should be done in the sun, but it should not be left in direct sunlight for too long.
- If the carpet is left wet, deformities due to mold can occur.
- The carpet should be kept away from substances such as detergents, harsh surface cleaners, bleach, and hydrochloric acid.
- Carpet shampoo will be sufficient for general cleaning. Improper cleaning agents can damage the carpet and cause color variations and fading.
- Hard objects and items placed on the carpet should not be left in the same spot for extended periods.
- Regardless of the fiber type, the carpet surface should not come into contact with water, tea, irons, etc., above 50 ˚C.
- Any liquid spilled on the carpet should be immediately absorbed with an absorbent cloth, paper towel, or vacuum cleaner, and then processed according to our stain removal instructions, depending on the type of spilled substance.
- For stains on the carpet, a professional carpet cleaner should be consulted.
- When not in use, the carpet should be stored rolled, not folded, in a dry place, vertically, and without anything placed on it.
- Do not scratch the surface of carpets with sharp or pointed objects. Because forcibly flattened fibers among the straight pile will not be able to straighten themselves due to the dense pile, which will lead to deformation of the carpet pile over time.
- There is no need to place mothballs between unused carpets that you plan to unroll within a few months.
- In long-pile carpets, due to usage, the pile ends may loosen or flatten over time.
- When a carpet that has been under weight is pulled out, care must be taken not to unravel or tear the overlock and backing weave.
- During transportation, care should be taken to ensure that hard and sharp objects do not damage the carpet.
- It is inevitable that there will be differences between areas of high usage intensity (traffic) and areas of low usage intensity on the carpet surface. To prevent this, it is necessary to change the direction of the carpet at regular intervals; this also prevents non-production-related shadowing.
- In cut-pile (natural and acrylic) carpets, some shedding is inevitable. This condition will diminish very quickly in carpets that are regularly vacuumed with a powerful vacuum cleaner.
- Footprints may be visible on cut-pile carpets. This is directly proportional to the brightness of the yarn used in the carpet's construction. Therefore, caution should be exercised when purchasing these types of carpets for areas with high usage intensity (traffic).
- If the same carpet that was previously purchased and used is bought again and laid side-by-side, there will inevitably be a difference between the two carpets. This should be considered when purchasing the second carpet.
- It is natural for color tones to vary due to lot differences in yarn of the same quality and design.
- In polypropylene (P.P.) carpets, due to the nature of the fiber used in carpet production, negative situations such as felting, deformation, etc., can occur easily and quickly. When purchasing these carpets, the necessity of using them in areas with low usage intensity (traffic) should be considered.
- Light-colored carpets show dirt more easily and are harder to clean. When choosing a carpet, determining the ground color according to the condition of the place where it will be used will be beneficial for later ease of use.
- Remember that no stain remover can ever completely remove all stains without damaging the stained item.
- You can seek help from professional carpet cleaners for a longer lifespan for your carpet.
- Since leather carpets are made from natural materials, there may be color differences between products belonging to the same group.
- Since leather carpets are made from natural materials, precise standard production in sizes is not possible. There may be differences between carpets from the same group.
- Products without a label on the carpet backing, or with a detached or torn label, will not be accepted for return.
- Our carpet does not have stain-resistant properties.
- Since the active ingredient that provides the non-slip feature is not water-resistant, if the carpet's base comes into contact with water, the non-slip feature will lose its effectiveness.
- Since polyester yarns do not have as much resilience (flexibility) as acrylic yarns, these yarns will flatten after a while. To correct this, regular vacuuming with a vacuum cleaner is necessary.
- The top part of bright polyester yarns is darker than their side surface. When the yarn is stepped on, the flattened yarns cause that part to appear lighter in color. This situation, which looks like color fading, is due to the characteristic of the yarn.
- In carpets produced using rayon yarn, direct contact with water should be avoided because the fiber used in carpet production is sensitive to water. Cleaning of products made using rayon yarn should be done with a damp cloth.
